On the other hand, demographics suggest that this can only turn in our (old farts’) favour.
Generally speaking, I suspect that as an older racer you will find a more hospitable environment in non-MSA meetings, and probably also more so in 4-stroke (i.e. mainly prokart at the moment). We did the PFi meeting yesterday and there seemed to be a very healthy mix of ages with mostly good, clean racing. I suppose it helps if there’s no-one there with delusions about being the next Lewis Hamilton, or frustrations about having discovered that they are not.
BTW: Going by what has been said above, I’m a veteran - ouch.
