What should I do if I suspect the scales at a MSA track to be defective??? I went to weigh my kart and found it to be 1kg over weight, I removed 1kg of lead, did a practice session and upon returning to the pits re-weighed the kart and it read 2kg over wieght???? a bit baffled I left it until after the next session, this time it read bang on weight 148kg, showing a 2kg difference between sessions even with the fuel loss. I'm sure these scales are regulated as they weigh karters after winning a race, if it shows these discrepancies surely they are open to question and it could result in someone being excluded unfairly.
