We agree..... and, similarly, to 'display' MY knowledge......
...... you are forgetting that NON-PRO-karts use am IMPERFECT design anyway.... the LEFT track rod is often longer than the RIGHT track rod. That creates a different set of 'angles' between the track rods and the stubs/drop-link on the two sides of the kart.... those 'different' angles produces different 'displacements' at the stub axles, thus the rate of change of wheel angle is DIFFERENT between the two sides of the kart no matter WHAT you do with centre-ing the drop link...... Basically, it's one of the reasons why steering racks are better than drag-links.....
