Pendle, I DO get your point..... however..... you miss the point I was making which has a DIRECT bearing on the question asked by Tom.

I assume that you 'semi-lock' and that you also 'semi-lock' as you enter the 'turn in point' which is the point where 'trail braking' starts. As we both agree that the simulator CANNOT replicate 'semi-lock', how can the simulator simulate the transition to trail-braking when it CANNOT simulate the 'starting condition' of being already partial 'locked' and thus 'sliding' under 'semi-lock'? Whatever else, practicing on a simulator WITHOUT 'semi-lock' will 'confuse' your transition between braking and 'trail braking'

I have a fear that driving games have BADLY wrongly taught the young much of their 'driving techniques'. It will do even MORE damage if we suggest that it really DOES simulate racing when it simply CANNOT....... yet!
