If your Alfano "misses" the first strip on the circuit when you go out but then picks them all up as you circulate then the sectors according to your alfano will be different to the actual sectors on the circuit . Magnetic strips do loose a certain ammount of their strength and not all cross the track completely , some even seem to have dead spots ( possibly faulty magnets within the strip ) which can cause no end of problems .
