driving technique for a car will differ from a kart by a fair margin , especially if your driving a tin top ........

And if a first on track session ,the instructor at oulton advised you correctly.

maybe go have some Kart specific instruction and coaching , it will start you on the road to how to get it right .....

and what senna was doing ..... back in the days us oldies raced 100cc Karts it was the way foward , try it in a rotax max and its not quite the same ...... nail the throttle in a 100cc and the effect is a little different to what happens in a max !!
