You need to be a bit more specific in your wants.

The unit tells you the revs 'at the instant' which probably means it doesn't record any information. When you look at it in the pits, it will read '0'.

If you are just starting out, I suspect your driver will have enough to do keeping it on the track, let alone seeing what the maximum revs are, just before he starts braking or remembering to note what revs he was doing at any particular part of the track.

It will track how long the engine has been running though, which is the usual need for commercial maintenance rather than race maintenance.
