ok,i know that karts with diagonal bars need to be changed to accept the new pods and accompanying bars but what about the nose cone?

ive just taken the old one off and put a new style nose cone on but in the process noticed there is only one top bar wheras my new kart has both a top and bottom bar.will i have to make some brackets up on the chassis to accept the new front bars as an msa requirement?
