Thanks for that. My son turns 8 next May, my local track (shenington) will allow him to practice aged 7 and he can take his licence out 3 months prior to that.
That leaves me a good few months to sort him out a kart, ideally a whole package ie retirement package. We are on a budget hence me wanting to go the Honda route, we are a middle of the road family who just want enjoyment and are not looking to set anything alight but i really dont want to mess up and buy the wrong thing.
We have a starter session booked for Shenington next month and i would like to get hold of a kart so he can practice over the autumn/winter so how would i know that it is compliant with MSA and does it have to be a cadet kart and not a bambino then ?
