Was a similar situation a couple of months back with a 10yr stratos chassis - basically after asking lots of questions from different people its too old to race as the chassis need to be within the last 2 regulation issues (which are in 3yr periods) - so believe with regulations just about to come out, you need something at least 2005 or newer.
You can still practice with your chassis but it won't be race legal (bodywork, side pod mounting points etc).
I ended up getting an 09 Project One chassis from someone on here who was moving up.
Sure others can give you more detail as to whats not legal but good luck
