Why not send it back? If faulty it would be replaced FOC. Incidentally only ONE helmet has ever been returned to date with a claimed unexplained crack whic later proved to be caused by the helmet being dropped, a fact that the owner later confirmed to be the case.
If the scruitineer had indeed seen 'several' cracked helmets a report would certainly been logged with the MSA, which none has.
Incidentally the new helmet is based on a totally new shell design and has naturally passed all of the safety tests for approval.
