What a brilliant weekend's racing! Despite ghastly weather on the Saturday (snow, rain and the rest), freezing temperatures on the Sunday,sheet ice across the pitlane, CPKC achieved the impossible and ran a full day of events - including some more bizarre races than usual! Tires, wheels, engines, heaters, batteries - you name it - were lent across the paddock to get everyone who wanted to - on the track.
Is there are message here? Maybe we should be looking at the clubs and not the MSA for the solution to karting's ailments. If this weekend at Clay is what MSA racing is all about - then bring it on! You'd have been pushed to find anyone leaving on Sunday night without a smile on their face.
