before you go for one, ring up the docs or go down and tell them that its for a racing licence and its not a full on medical, its just to check eye sight, blood pressure etc...otherwise they will think its a full on medical which costs a fortune...i managed to get mine for 20 quid instead of about 70 quid by just letting them know in advance.
