Your results simply prove what was stated in a previous thread about this topic; that steel has roughly the same youngs modulous regardless of hardness, and that therefore hardness has little effect on stiffness. You will not find what you're looking for in axle hardness. But my compliments on doing the test.....somebody trying to think and apply logic to cut through the bull is highly unusual on this forum.
