Do you get the oversteer on left and right hand corners? If it's just one particular direction then perhaps your chassis is twisted? Just a thought.

As far as tyre age the grip level drops off significantly after about 400 laps use. Sounds like yours have done a lot more than than this.

It's best to have two new sets of tyres and use one for testing and one for racing. It doesn't cost anymore in the long run, except needing an extra set of rims.
