Be carefull here. Sometimes you can have understeer which is misunderstood as oversteer. The Kart understeers into a corner then as the speed reduces such that the front wheels grip the kart snaps into oversteer, so in this case increasing rear grip will compound the problem. Sounds like your lad is pretty competant, but it isn't always easy to fully understand the karts behaviour. If you can narrow this problem down to a couple of corners. Dad u need to watch how much steering lock is required etc at these corners. Two bites of the wheel on the way into the cornerusually indicates a sudden snap to oversteer. A wider rear track should help in this case
