thanks for all your input on this guys, you have been very helpful and i appreciate you taking the time to post, rafe my budget isnt much, around 2000 and im not expecting much for that money, i have been in talks with the guy with the f1 cr250 and he seems to be genuine so i am going today for a look, possibly buy, he has a few bits and bobs to go with it, i know im going to have to spend a few bob to get it set up right and looking good which i dont mind, all part of the joys of karting! will let you guys know how i get on, ps im gonna have a good few questions for yas if i decide to buy it as i have no clue about these things
