1) Buy/Borrow 4 cheap sets of bathroom scales from Argos/Tescos/etc.. (less the Ł10 each. Here's an example:-

For precision, you can even do it with 1 set but with just 2, it's no harder to do.

2) Find flat-ish floor
3) Buy/Borrow small electric drill
4) Find friendly assistant
5) Buy a felt tipped pen
6) Post your email address here and I'll send you the instructions of how to do it.

It's not difficult.
