Hi All,

Weird coming back here, but was at Silverstone at the weekend and heard a plan for a new race Series.

Basically like MTVUKC, it would be non-MSA and designed specifically for TV..........live TV. Moreover it would take in 5 or 6 circuits across the country and drivers would get 2 points scoring rounds. The big twist is that it would happen in July, August time (school holidays), only for Juniors, in a week day evening (thursday was best for TV audience) - effectively the races would be dusk finals.

I thought it sounded interesting but when i asked the source who was behind it he didnt know?! Anyone?

Sounds like it could be very popular though.
