We sort of agree....

Except....

The point where more grip becomes a disadvantage is where:-
* with even the lowest possible CofG
* and the widest possible chassis settings
* and a driver who knows how to control 'hopping' (cyclical lifting)
* and all manner of other provisos......
* AND you are already circulating with FULL throttle and no brakes whatsoever....

.....then.... and ONLY then.... would more grip be a fractional disadvantage. Until then, 'more grip' will ALWAYS be an advantage!

We are a LONG way off that point in karts that exist today.... That point MIGHT arrive some day but it will occur on the same day that you AND I become too good-sexy for our own benefit!

That occurence is 'theoretically' as likely as too much grip! I look forward to that day arriving with considerable anticipation!
