I'm 58 now and started again 5 years ago.
I race Formula Blue, recently having some success. It is particularly attractive if you have added some pounds over the years.
The NKRA has classes for over 40's and over 50's
You can be competitive, even with the front runners, for a while until you get tired then youth will out.
I still enjoy it and can race competitively, not just for the social side.
