Anumber of years ago I was part of a pit crew on a 6hr race on the old Nurburgring - and in the light rain conditions we reversed the tyres - so there is clearly some gain - experience counts for a lot - even when it sounds illogical - people like Scoobyscene or the team i was with have learnt from testing - You never know until you try.
