They are very easy to fit entirely by hand. It is all about getting the wheel at an angle away from you and compressing the tyre and pushing with both hands on opposite sides of the tyre. I can fit a set of d2's in 5 mins without any tools or anything. All I use is a bit of wd40 around the tyre rim to help ease it on as you push down. Trust me, it's easy if you get the wheel at an angle away from you.
