unfortunately the one thing a dyno does not do is to give you some absolute to compare against. You test in the morning, strip service and rebuild and then dyno the engine in the afternoon...the one thing that CAN be guaranteed is that the temperature, air pressure and/or the rel.humidity will have changed and the performance of the engine in the afternoon (in terms of HP and torque) cannot be compared to the results obtained in the morning.
