Heating the tyres, okay, does that just mean warming them on the way to the grid, or spinning up the back axle on the dummy-grid?
Or does heating include using a set of tyres all Saturday that you're going to have to use on the Sunday, and using the heat-gun and scraper to remove the accumulated rubber and debris at night, knowing that they'll be cool again by morning?
I don't do it anyway, but I'm sometimes curious, since it's obvious when it has been done to some tyres, but I've never seen it picked up on the grid. (Though I have seen heat sensors used)
