The club are in a difficult pposition as they did not know what the weather would do overnight and they probably had quite alot of people staying at the club overnight or booked into local hotels.
If they cancelled the meeting when racing was possible then all those who had paid for hotels etc would have been unhappy as would anyone who took the risk of the journey this morning.
They have managed to get the track cleared and safe to the satisfaction of the MSA Steward so they can hardly be expected to take responsibility for weather conditions making it hard or impossible for some to make it to the track.
Booking to race at this time of year is always a risk.
