Having read the posts quote " tasked with finding the best kart drivers in the country - some of whom will hopefully go on to find success in bigger series in the future and show the UK is one of the best race driver sources in the world."
It all ends there, there is NO one or body that looks at the karting, like there is in football, rugby,cricket etc there are no talent scouts.
It is all a dream.
I have been involved kart racing in UK and the International Karting since May 1991 (nearly 21 years) so i am speaking with a fair amount of experience.
So the moral is enjoy what your doing, do not do it just because you think it will open up to a dream of F1.
Just enjoy your racing
