Be HONEST!
Work out what you spend on karting per year and then divide that into 48 and multiple the result by 100. That will give you the percentage.
Then tell me that £48 quid is a SIGNIFICANT part of your budget!
By all MEANS moan about the cost of Tyres, Engine rebuilds, Chassis costs, Wheels, Fuel, Stickers etc.. They WILL be a significant part of your costs!
I'd be willing to BET that the cost of your COFFEE, TEA, SOFT DRINKS and Chocolate consumed at the race track cost you MORE than £48 per year!
Yes, it IS annoying feeling that you have been forced to 'waste' £48..... but PLEASE don't pretend it makes the difference between whether you can RACE or not..... NO ONE BELIEVES such a claim!
