Something suprising that I have found is massively cheaper getting a motor trade policy that insuring the cars individually.

I buy a few cars at auction and sell them on nothing major just a few a year to aid paying for karts etc and a special motortrade insurance has saved me a fortune.

The van I use just for pleasure and karting is a 2 year old Renault Traffic Sport that I've had from new and is valued at Ł10k. My old insurer CVD wanted over Ł700 to renew. I also have a 2003 Mondeo and an old Corsa insured for Ł400 and Ł125 respectively. On a part time motor trade policy where I am allowed any number of cars on it even ones that I have no intention of selling the cost for the year was Ł800. It now means I am legally covered on any car I buy or use with the owners permission. Company I used is Bollington they might be able to help.
