And that was the point. Make it transparent & consistent. The drivers were perfectly able to modify their lines. But that only works when there is full understanding & agreement that all are playing to the same rules & that infringements are dealt with fairly & consistently. From a mechanicing standpoint, I will welcome less kerb banging but all drivers & officials need to agree on the policy. Enforce or not. Interestingly the top 3 drivers in 177 in the final did not get warnings for kerbing. From what I saw all other drivers did. It shows it can be done & can still be fast. Lets see if next month Ian Moore can be equally consistent but be upfront about expecations.
