I would have thought another issue is (as always) money - many of those who could benefit greatly from your expertise (lad+Dad) are squeezed for budget and may feel money spent on seat time is preferable

Those with stacks of cash are likely to look to the big teams (who you say you haven't had much joy with)

Personally, I'd love to have someone like you available to help, but given that last year's holiday budget went on a rebuild I'm not sure I could convince the Mrs it's worth it... :)
