I agree, although karting over the years has become a younger mans sport. In regards to it becoming a stepping stone to a higher goal f1
I do remember when I started (1989)guys in their forty's & fiftys driving & being on the pace. Over the last few years the masters class has come in( of which I am 1) & I've never had so much fun.
Maybe you need to look at it in a different way mike. There are a lot of drivers who do s1 on there own. Who need advice. Go freelance, now your up onthe site you may get work
P.s I remember racing your son at fullbeck in 2000 in Nkra finals & was blown away by how quick he was:-)
