The stiffness of the seat stays is not 'known'. Nor is the amount by which they 'stiffen' the seat. Some of us say they make s*d all difference to a flewxible seat anyway! It's therefore JUST as possible that they are too stiff as it is that they are too flexible already. Therefore altering the stiffness of them MIGHT make them work better!
