it does not matter one jott what you think of me or my opinions but they are my opinions, which were meant to help a guy with a novice 8 year old, ian suggested putting a cushion behind him then picking him out of thetyres when it causes him to crash which is dangerous, irresponsible and possibly even litigious if the boy wasseriously hurt.
then suggested getting him to brake later and later into a corner well on some tracks with a big run off area you could brake 50 metres after every one else ,you would miss the corner but at least you braked late!! braking points differ for differents brakes, karts, cars etc, but the turn in point is always the same which is what i suggested plus rather than brake late we used to teach trying to drive without using the brakes to get the driver to look and think ahead, but would not suggest this for an 8 year old.
as for kart set up, you cannot tell me i am wrong because i find it very easy to set up, that is how i find it, we have tried exteme opposites on set up which while he has come back and said it has been awful to drive has still been within half a second of a fast time , so until that 8 year old or any other newish driver gets to that point, it is more than likely it is them that need improvement, not the kart,i have a very good driver who can tell me what feels wrong and we try to change that, that may not work for you or your driver if you are not as good and will not work with an 8 year old, but i stil find it easy!!

lots of our results are on here, not all msa track results are on here(clay , for instance ?)

my opinion of karting and is also mine, based on my experience and what i read on here , the bitterness, the jealousy, the self importance, this , especially the jealousy and the treatment of my son on and off the track is why i do not wish to tell you who he is .

but these are all just MY opinions, based on MY experiences, you may not like them, you may not agree with them, that is fine, move on , but they are MINE,
if i say i like football you cannot tell me i am wrong just because you dont like it
