Actually the last race on Saturday (Rotax Max) started at 5.59 pm. Prizes finished 6.55 pm. Sunday racing delayed by the tardy arrival of County Ambulance to attend to an injured driver. Racing finished 5.59 pm. Prizes delayed by protest and the MSA steward requiring this to be resolved. As usual some obscure set of numbers and letters that even with the 'blue' book leaves you less than informed as to the problem.

Very good weekends racing in most of the 10 (yes 10) classes. The qualified racing on Saturday did tend to lead to processional racing. Sunday racing was more energetic. More to race for.

With mixed grid racing the drivers know what is needed. 1st corner incidents can and do occur.

With timed qualifying racing the drivers know the people around them are fast. But are they talented racers? Pressures to make a good start are probably higher as overtaking is more difficult due to the other drivers around you being quick. This can lead to 1st corner incidents. Take Spa as a bad example.

Even with a mile long straight before the 1st corner there will still be incidents. I still think the mixed grids are the better racing, and certainly better to watch.

The Hart meeting was a grat sucsess. £1000's raised for Cancer Reserch. Ian Rennison's pink mohican hair do that raised over £300 was a joy to behold.
