Couldn't agree more. In europe those with the fastest engines start at the front after quali and that's about it barring incidents.

First time we came to the UK and raced we saw more overtaking in one heat than you would ussually get from every class over an entire weekend in France.

UK karting isn't perfect but there are good reasons why Brits are so well represented in other formulas. Not least of which is mixed qualifying.
