Techno actually produced the first 'Coke Bottle' design in the 1960's and very little has changed since, Zip made the Concorde in 1972 which was as it's name suggests an A frame or Delta design however it was never as good as the coke bottle shaped Zip Californian which was also available at the time so it soon disappeared.
A few others appeared over the years with the most recent being a Maranello in 2009 that had a curious double rail layout that had a center disk brake, again this did not catch on however the chassis had exceptional front end grip , was stable under braking. Unfortunately it was also heavy.
