Tried a restrictor at the weekend, on my T1 sp motor. The difference was not noticeable when viewing at the track side, the only commment from my lad was at very low revs it just took the edge off, meaning in his words you get on the throttle earlier! The stop watch showed 2 tenths on a short track, with 3 tight hairpins. Reading some of the early knee jerk comments on here it was like reading the Sun or Star. I think it will make a differnce, but not enough to put people off, and will possibly have less of an effect as the T2 with its flatter torque curve gets used more. Before you all jump, i made it, not hard really just some very thin carbon sheet!
