The idea that you can get a honda and its provides a cheaper solution I am not sure is that accurate. A race "tuned" Honda from a UFO/RPM is about the same price as a IAME out of the box - and a proven SP race winner can be many thousands. Add to this that the Honda's maybe a fair bit slower next season ... You can see by the amount of good Honda T1 engines for sale at a fraction of the price of 12mths ago, that all the cadet classes are at a crossroads - by March, I am sure things will be much clearer.

I am not bashing the Hondas as we have had a great first year in them, but its not a cheaper option, just less hassle.
