That last bit carries SO much info....

"The main device shall be a mechanism held tightly to the driver's torso by
seat belts or other strap systems such that the reactive load carrying
components move directly with the torso and controls head, neck, and
torso relative positions during forward or off-center impact situations."

'Seat belt'..... in a KART? If it's attached to the suit.... that means the suit's going to have to be pretty tightly attached.... or perhaps we'll wear some form of webbing belt around ourselves.

'Forward or off-centre' (I corrected the spelling...).... And what about REAR impact where the fabled 'whip-lash' occuirs that we are often told these things prevent....?
