Teams are great value at the begining of your karting journey, as it speeds up you learning process.

i pass on 7 years worth of experience when people run in a team with me for example.

however if your doing something like s1 you will also benifit from a team environment no mater what your experience as we all get lost now and again. and that extra pair of eyes really helps....plus my dad and unipro/afarno stopwatches dont mix too well ;-)

Me and my dad did stars alone last year and had a great time doing it and i dont think doing S1 in a team will devalue that great experience for us. but it will make the weekend easier and hopefully the results will improve.
