Well for a start ive seen karts bent like anything and still be within .2 of what it started out as. Your biggest concern when it comes to kart straightness is the what u called "Bend" you dont want one front wheel lower or higher than the other.
Itpro's Son once bent my new Tal-ko chassis & shortend its wheel base by about an inch! & it was also slightly shorter one side.. it handled somewhat better like that.
