Chris, I know what you mean. I used to 're-jig' it myself all the time using the usual measuring methods. However, it is worth (every now and then) to have it done properly especially if it's had a tonk or two. Use of a proper flatbed will reset everything (if possible) and at the same time you can check corner weights. to confirm it.
