I'd recommend you have both set of Comer cadet rims which are designed for the Zip chassis, black (slicks) & gold (wets).

We didn't use the rear black rims on the Lightning very often as I had a special needs driver when we did cadets, but they will work well for most drivers in most conditions.

If you need to release more grip from the rear of the kart get some Arrow cadet rear rims, they are further offset and wider. Also great for the tall / overweight cadets.
