Hi Matt,
It's Benjy Russell from IPK (formerly Intrepid UK). I'm sorry you feel that way. We rarely sell parts to the end user as we have a vast array of agents and resellers that can offer not only IPK (Intrepid) components but also a wide variety of other products with free next day delivery. All of our resellers can be found on our website www.ipkarting.co.uk

We became the distributor in 2011 and since then brake shims aren't needed on any Intrepid kart, which I believe has been the case since 2008. The brake systems newer than this are all self adjusting meaning that as the pads wear out the pistons automatically move out to keep the pads at a consistent minimal distance away from the disc elevating the need for brake shims.

If you want to give me a call on my personal number 07585 448540 then I would be happy to assist you further.

Kind Regards,

Benjy
