Is the van registered as a motor caravan on the log book? If it is, then I wouldn't expect there is a problem. If it's not registered as a motor caravan, then I imagine you would have some problems. To get it registered as a motor caravan needs minimum requirements. This site might be useful - http://www.caravanwise.co.uk/motor/diycamper.html
