It has happened to us once or twice in the past, I can't say 100% it was sabotage however I know now when we leave the grid that the high jet is right and that the low jet (tkm) requires a screwdriver so therefore it is unlikely to get knocked or tampered with.
The last thing I do on the grid before we start the kart is to check the high jet. Put a small mark with a permanent marker or paint on the carb body and carefully turn the high jet in fully and reset it to the mark to ensure it is where you want it.
Karting is one long learning curve and to be successful you need to learn from previous experiences and USE that learning!.
