Hi Alan in hindsight you may well be correct with the Cymru designation but all involved with the Welsh Champs at Llandow refer to the winner as the Celtic Champ. There is also a stand alone Celtic Cup event held in December for the right to use the CC plate but only at Llandow for the following club season. Unlike the C plate which is nationally recognised and approved by the MSA.
Interestingly on the 'local knowledge' point there are 7 English circuits that fall within the driving time to GYG for either Tom or Josh so as you may guess GYG is not on their regular list of venues.
