There is no doubt that the top drivers will remain the top drivers if it was pooled or not. you just have to look at onboards or race against them to know they make no mistakes and have great race craft. However they do have very good equipment too. There is a major difference between rotax engines. The good engines allow you to not overdrive and stay consistant.

I think S1 and JaG should be applauded for this step forward. S1 is never going to be as cheap as a clubby, but with this I'm sure it will reduce the costs slightly. Its a win win, as if you think your losing out just on motor then this will show where you really are.

I dont think we will see the top half doing it....why should they they have top equipment. however if your a top club driver or in the bottom half of S1 (probably the same thing) then its a good idea to take up.
