If your lad is 6 then get him a proper cadet kart. The bambino is a waste of time as he will get a false sense if security from the smaller engine and you will also struggle to sell it.

He can practise on a full size kart from 6. If you think it is too fast then just restrict it a little to start with.

If you get him a Honda then you can get a Prokart and so the endurance series at 3 Sisters. Same engines for both ( just restricted for the cadets).
